2010 Scholarship Sponsors


In today's difficult economic climate, funding college is becoming increasingly difficult for our members. The New York Chapter of SWANA recognizes this challenge and is seeking companies and organizations to partner with us by sponsoring the New York SWANA Chapter Scholarship Program. These sponsorships will be added to the $6,000 in Chapter funding and will be used to increase the 2010 Scholarship Awards across all four existing categories; which include incoming freshmen students, undergraduate college students, graduate students and SWANA member professionals seeking professional development.


There are a limited number of sponsorship opportunities, so the Scholarship Committee encourages companies to act quickly. Along with the sponsorship comes real benefits. The sponsorship categories, and the benefits associated with participation are described below:


Diamond Sponsor - $2,000

  • Your company name will appear on the NY SWANA website with a link to your firm website.
  • Your company will be highlighted in an article that will be included in a 2009 SWANA Newsletter.
  • Your company name and contact information will be included on all advertisements and award letters related to the Scholarship Program.
  • Your Company will have the opportunity to provide materials that will be included with the Annual Federation Conference materials distributed during the conference.
  • Your company will be highlighted in a flyer that will be included with the Annual Federation Conference materials distributed during the conference.
  • Your Company will be highlighted on a display at the Annual Federation Conference.
  • A delegate of your firm will participate in deliberations of the Scholarship Committee.

Gold Sponsor - $1,000

  • Your company name will appear on the NY SWANA website with a link to your firm website.
  • Your company will be highlighted in an article that will be included in a 2009 SWANA Newsletter.
  • Your company name will be included in all advertisements and award letters related to the Scholarship Program.
  • Your company will be highlighted in a flyer that will be included with the Annual Federation Conference materials distributed during the conference.
  • Your Company will be highlighted on a display at the Annual Federation Conference.

Silver Sponsor - $500

  • Your company name will appear on the NY SWANA website with a link to your firm website.
  • Your company name and contact information will be included in advertisements and award letters related to the Scholarship Program.
  • Your company will be highlighted in a flyer that will be included with the Annual Federation Conference materials distributed during the conference.
  • Your Company will be highlighted on a display at the Annual Federation Conference.

Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2010 to be included in the 2010 Scholarship Program. All contributions are tax deductible as New York SWANA is a registered 5013C organization.
